Honeymoon Samoa

Just returned from second trip to this resort and it didn't disappoint. Gorgeous traditional style resort. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The cocktails were perfect! The beach and snorkeling is amazing, though being coastal you can't swim all the time, but there are times most days. Lots of fish and sealife to see. The food is nice, but gets boring after a few days, so hiring a car or getting a cab somewhere else recommended, though it is secluded. A litre of milk was provided free in the fridge and this lasted the week for coffee in the room. The bed was comfy. Our beachfront room had a ceiling fan we used rather than the aircon. Tip that the switch for the light on your porch in beachfront rooms is out on the porch. We like a darkened room. The beachfront rooms are connecting and you can hear the people next door. The manager, his office is in reception, was amazing if you need help with anything. Plenty of fun activities offered, which gets you off your sunlounger if you feel the need. Nice selection at breakfast. Differs slightly every day. No muesli provided (bring your own) Beautiful resort for a relaxing break. (Ps being a cat lover I wish I had taken biccies for the resort cat)

Return to paradise is by far our new favourite place to holiday.The staff are the friendliest people you will find anywhere in the world.The rooms are amazing luckily the aircon nits work a treat as the temperature outside was around 28 the whole week.The beach was what you’d expect couldn’t get enough of swimming between there and the pools.The bar stuff make top notch cocktails and food was delicious.The swim with turtles is a must do. Unfortunately we didn’t do a few of the trip but when we come back will do them for sure.our Visit to Apia was an eye opener our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Samoa and the places to go making that trip is a must.We are already planning our next trip back .Thank you our new return to paradise family

Our stay at Return to Paradise Resort & Spa was genuinely unforgettable — an experience that touched us far beyond what we expected from a holiday. Yes, the beach is breathtaking and the rooms are beautiful, but what truly made this place special were the people.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were being welcomed home. The ladies at reception and the management team greeted us with such warmth, it instantly set the tone for our stay. A special thanks to Mika — such a kind and generous person who went out of his way to help us move into a new apartment. His compassion and care are what Samoan hospitality is all about.

The restaurant and service crew were beyond amazing. Huge thanks to Lima, Fetalai, Mampupo, Ahkey, and Victoria — your smiles, kindness, and genuine care made every meal feel like a celebration. And to the talented chefs, Satui, Asati, and Kolio — your food was absolutely delicious, and it was clear each dish was made with pride and love.

One of the biggest highlights was joining the resort’s tours with Tasi and Stan. These two were born to guide — they brought every story to life with humor, passion, and such deep knowledge. If you’re staying here, their tours are not to be missed.

Every evening, the cultural performances left us speechless. Ioana, Mai Mai, Moa, Hun, Tupu, and Elisara brought the stage to life with their incredible energy and grace. Their pride in their culture was so moving, and each night felt like a true gift.

Tia, the amazing barista, deserves a huge mention. Not only did he make the best cappuccinos we’ve had in a long time, but his friendly presence genuinely brightened our mornings.

We also spent some time at the Lomi Wellness Spa — and wow. Gather, Aperila, Opo, and Toe have magic hands. Their massages were the perfect mix of relaxation and care, and we left every session feeling brand new.

Let’s not forget the grounds. Fatu and his gardening team keep everything looking absolutely stunning. Every path, every corner of the resort felt like a peaceful tropical haven. And the housekeeping team made sure our room was always spotless and calming — thank you for that.

What makes this place so special isn’t just the location — it’s the soul of it. There’s a rare kind of heart here, and you feel it in every interaction. The people aren’t just staff — they’re what make this place shine.

We came as guests, but we’re leaving feeling like family. Fa’afetai tele lava to everyone who made this trip so meaningful. We’ll absolutely be back. You’ve left a mark on our hearts.

The dining experience was another highlight. Every meal felt special thanks to the wonderful service from Lima, Fetalai, Mampupo, Ahkey, and Victoria — always smiling, always attentive. And to the kitchen team — Satui, Asati, and Kolio — thank you for the beautiful meals. Everything you served was full of flavour and heart, a real taste of Samoa.

We also want to say a huge thank you to our tour guides, Tasi and Stan. You made every adventure fun, insightful, and full of laughs. Exploring Samoa with you two was unforgettable, and your love for your culture made every moment even more meaningful.

The evening performances were simply magical. Ioana, Mai Mai, Moa, Hun, Tupu, Elisara and the whole team — your singing and dancing brought so much soul and energy. We had chills more than once. What a gift to witness your talent and passion.

And then there’s Tia — hands down, the best cappuccinos on the island (maybe even anywhere!). Your energy and friendliness every morning made our day start off on the best note.

The Lomi Wellness Spa was a sanctuary. Gather, Aperila, Opo, and Toe — thank you for the gentle, caring, and professional service. Every visit was peaceful and deeply relaxing.

A big thank you as well to Fatu and the amazing gardens team. The grounds are absolutely stunning — so lush, vibrant, and clearly cared for with so much love and attention. It made walking around the resort a joy.

And of course, to the housekeeping team — thank you for keeping everything so clean, fresh, and welcoming. You may work quietly in the background, but your efforts never went unnoticed and were deeply appreciated.
